I had a mixed experience at the Executive Hotel Cosmopolitan Toronto. The clean and spacious rooms were a highlight, though I did notice some inconsistencies with housekeeping during my stay. The hotel's location is superb, right in the heart of downtown, which made it easy to explore the area. However, I encountered some frustrating moments with the front desk staff that could have soured my visit. Overall, there were many positives, but some areas need attention.

Rooms
8.0
The room was spacious and well-decorated, equipped with all necessary amenities including a kitchenette, which made my stay comfortable. I appreciated the good lighting and high ceilings that gave the room an airy feel. However, it was puzzling that there were no cooking implements in the kitchenette, which diminished its usefulness.
Service
6.0
The staff were friendly and responsive, which was a definite plus. However, I faced several issues with the front desk. At one point, the clerk was dismissive and provided incorrect information about my room readiness, leading to unnecessary waiting time. Although a later staff member apologized for that mix-up, it left a sour note on my overall experience.
Location
9.0
The hotel is excellently located, with a short walk to major attractions and restaurants. This central setting allowed me to navigate the city with ease, and I really enjoyed having many dining options just steps away from the hotel. It’s particularly convenient for both leisure and business travelers.
Dining
7.0
The breakfast offerings were fantastic, plentiful, and well-stocked, making for a great start to each day. However, I was disappointed that the dining room didn’t allow food to be taken out, limiting my flexibility to enjoy breakfast in my room.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel provided good facilities, such as valet parking at a reasonable rate and a well-functioning washer/dryer in the room. While the Wi-Fi speed was adequate, some of the rooms and common areas could benefit from a better refresh, as they appeared somewhat dated.

I had a pretty good stay at the Executive Hotel Cosmopolitan Toronto, but it wasn't without its bumps. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, which made a big difference. However, I found the room a bit chilly and struggled with downtown noise that messed with my sleep.

Rooms
7.0
My room felt more like a small apartment, with handy amenities like a washer and dryer. But it was a bit too cold for my taste and not the most comfortable for a good night's sleep.
Service
10.0
The staff were truly fantastic. They went out of their way to extend my parking beyond checkout for free, making my stay even more enjoyable.
Location
9.0
The location couldn't be beat, right in the heart of downtown and close to Bay Street. It made getting around super easy, though heading away from Yonge St felt a little sketchy at times.
Dining
5.0
Dining options in-house were a letdown. The offerings seemed limited and unappetizing. I was looking for something more satisfying.
Facilities
7.0
Facilities like dry cleaning and housekeeping were sufficient. But I was hoping for more variety, given the price range.

5.2/10

Overall, my stay at Executive Hotel Cosmopolitan Toronto was enjoyable. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and I loved the spacious family suite with a kitchenette, although some aspects like cleanliness could use improvement. The location was fantastic for exploring the city, with easy access to transit and nearby attractions. However, certain amenities like the sauna had restricted accessibility, which was a bit disappointing.

Rooms
7.0
The family suite was a good size with a comfy sofa bed and kitchenette, but cleanliness was a concern. Some furniture looked old, and I noticed a musty smell in the room.
Service
8.0
The staff went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed, making my stay very comfortable and welcoming.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location was perfect for my plans, with easy walking access to shops, restaurants, and transit options like the TTC and Union Station.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast included was pretty standard, with a decent selection of continental options, although it could be more varied.
Facilities
6.0
Facilities were okay, but I was let down by limited access to the sauna and whirlpool, especially after a long day of exploring.

6.6/10

My stay at the Executive Hotel Cosmopolitan Toronto had its ups and downs. The location was excellent, making it easy to explore the city (I loved being so close to Union Station!). However, I encountered some staff issues and noise disturbances that detracted from the overall experience. Despite these setbacks, the room was clean and offered nice amenities but could have used some freshening up.

Rooms
7.0
The room was cute and comfortable, though it could have used a paint job to freshen it up. I appreciated the kitchenette facilities, but the noise from the large fans in the backyard was bothersome.
Service
5.0
While some staff were friendly and accommodating, I did experience frustrating interactions that left a sour impression. The rigidity regarding policies was disappointing, especially after paying for services that weren't delivered.
Location
9.0
The location was fantastic—central and close to transportation, restaurants, and main attractions. I enjoyed walking around the area and taking in all the sights.
Dining
7.0
The breakfast options were decent for a hotel, with a mix of pastries, cereals, and fresh fruit. I especially liked the make-your-own Belgian waffles, but overall, the dining could have been more appealing.
Facilities
6.0
The amenities included a kitchenette and laundry facilities, which were convenient. However, the pool being closed during my stay was disappointing, especially since it was a Monday.

5.6/10

I had a pleasant stay at the Executive Hotel Cosmopolitan Toronto, benefiting from its central location and spacious rooms. The staff were generally welcoming and helpful, although I did encounter some minor issues with maintenance. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and would return for the convenience and comfort.

Rooms
8.0
The room was spacious and felt more like a vacation apartment than a hotel room. I loved having a separate bedroom and good workspace options, although I did notice some wear and tear in the furnishings and a musty smell in one of the rooms I saw.
Service
9.0
The staff were very responsive and friendly. Louise at check-in was particularly helpful, and I appreciated the grace with which Tama handled a difficult guest during my checkout. It made me feel valued and at ease.
Location
9.0
The hotel is centrally located, just a short walk to shopping, theaters, and public transport. This made it incredibly convenient for exploring the downtown area, though I would recommend sticking to the main streets for safety.
Dining
7.0
I really enjoyed the breakfast options, but I wish there had been more cooked proteins available. The atmosphere in the restaurant was nice, but I found the rules about taking food up to my room a bit restrictive.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel offers useful amenities like housekeeping and laundry services. However, I did find that there was no on-site parking, which could be inconvenient for those driving to Toronto.
